How to burn a m4v movie to a DVD and have it play on a TV?
I created an m4v movie from a slideshow that I put together on iPhoto. I then burned it to a 4.7GB DVD disc by simply right-clicking the file and entering "Burn (name of file) to disc." The problem is the DVD will not play on my televsion. It will play on my iMac, but not on my DVD player. I get the message "incorrect disc." I've used this procedure with several other m4v movies I created from slideshows, and all of these play on my TV. The only difference is that these DVDs were 700MB. Is the size difference in the DVD causing the problem? And, if so, how do I fix it without having to purchase some pricey software?
Burn m4v to DVD for DVD player
My wife is a fitness instructor and the company she gets her workouts from started sending links to download the videos that are m4v files instead of mailing DVD's. She wants to make a DVD that's able to be used in our DVD player, but I've only had success in making coasters. I have Toast Titanium 11, Mac X Video Convertor, and Mac X DVD Ripper Pro. I can get the DVD's to burn as a data dvd, but not a movie. I've used every file format that I can think of, but can't get it to burn as a movie disk. Any suggestions?

How to go from M4V to DVD?
Hi all - I created a Slideshow in iPhoto and exported it to mobile, medium and display versions of M4V. I can now view them from iPhone and iPad and within iTunes, but I'd really prefer to get the Display version to DVD so I can distribute it to the people involved with the slideshow AND know that not all (most) will run on Windows. I'm a rookie way beyond my comfort level at this point Thanks in advance for the assist – Sabrina
